| 4:06 pm | Halloween! And that means one thing and one thing only! And I've done it. It took weeks but I finally found a pumpkin patch. Only difference is this year I'm bringing my laptop so I can get some work done! The Great Pumpkin has something to do with all of this! Anyone who wants to join me is welcome. It'll be fun! |

| 4:40 am | As the Chinese philosopher Lao-tzu wrote "A journey of a thousand miles begins with a single step." ...and apparantly that first step is finding my way around this new place. Still not entirely sure how I got from the University of Minnesota to Canada, but wer'e not that far from the border and I still haven't ruled out one of Dale's bizarre practical jokes... though that doesn't explain why I can't get through to him, his girlfriend Rita, Mom, Dad or Charlie Brown... I did get through to the nearest university... And this is where it gets weird: I've apparantly already been signed up for classes and all my credits have been transferred. I'm not entirely certain what to say to that, but for the moment they're faxing over my book list and I have to get to the library and see if there are any more copies that I can check out...
